Avoiding Junk In Your Inbox

When signing up for anything on the net you will eventually find youself on unwanted mailing lists. To avoid spam with your primary email address use free and disposable email addresses when you think you might be exposed to junk emailers.

When you do start getting to much junk email you can close the account and open another. This saves the grief of flooding your primary email with garbage from unwanted sources. Use primary emails only for close friends and family.

Use disposable emails when posting to newsgroups. Spammers sometimes use software to scour the newsgroups for your email addresss.

Don’t post your email on forums. Make sure if you do that you use a free account or disposable email adress.

You ask where can I find a free or disposable email account?

Gmail has to be one of the best with it’s unlimited storage. It still requires an invitation to my knowledge.

If you need a gmail account send me a message or post here and I will work out an invitation for you.

Hotmail

Yahoo Maill

These are the three I would recommend. If others can recommend some dependable free emails to use please share.

Free disposable emails that work well:

Spamgourmet
This is a great service you can use to have your email forwarded to you without getting junk. You can designate how many times you want to use the email that you set up and can use multiple identities.

Mailinator Disposable Email Address Service
Mailinator lets you use any email address @mailinator.com and pick up the mail at their site. Since there’s no connection to your real address, you sure won’t get spam from using Mailinator addresses.

There are a lot of other free email services and disposable services. You can also do a search if looking for something specific. But make sure to use an email address you can dispose of later on if you end up with to much junk mail in your email box. Happy Hunting.
