Please resubscribe to the blog if…
Awhile back hosting decided to move the domain to a new server because of mysql 5 udates. In the meantime I am still finding problems with all of my sites. Althugh small many are very annoying. But if you had subscribed to the blog and came back to find you no longer were subscribed I apologize. It seems in the move the subscriber database became corrupted. I sure would love to see those who posted in the past posting thier comments again.
I apologize for any inconvience this may have caused anyone.
Do You Think I Enjoy Deleting You?
As a Program Owner of a site I have the dilemna of deleting those who are cheating the advertiser and the sites honest members of money. I agonize over deleting some people at times. I want to believe everyone is honest and reading the emails, considering offers and I actually enjoy paying the members. Read more

Is It Just About The Cash?
Reading on one of the forums today I came across a thread about a Paid to Read site and Paid to Click banners with no cash or point values. The subject line made me open the thread to read it. “Kinda Bogus, Adpaid of all programs.” The first sentence read, “PTC’s for Zero points? What’s the point of that??” I found the topic quite interesting and went on to read more of the thread. The intial reaction of most of the posters at the forum was what was the big deal, with a remark from the original poster of. “It is a way to get people to visit those sites without having to pay them.” Now my take on the whole thing as a Program Owner was this wasn’t unusual as the Paid to Clicks were most likely Contest Link Paid to clicks which would make the Paid to Clicks ads worth something. Many Paid to Read programs have a Contest Link section which have banners worth very little or nothing at all and every so many clicks a member wins a prize of cash or advertising for clicking the banners. So would it still not be paid clicking? I would think that one would be happy with winning in the Contest PTC section if they were active enough. The amount is much more then most cash or point ads are worth and if one is an active clicker the chance of winning that prize is higher then if you randomly clicked ads. Do we not have choices in PTR for what we choose to click on or has complaining just become a way of life in the forums for someone frustrated with something else in life? This seemed such a petty thing to me for one to complain about. There are generally lots of other ads at sites to click on or does it come down to the money and nothing more with some. Isn’t Paid to Read suppose to be about Advertisers and Consumers coming together or am I missing something here? Someone please enlighten me…
Zodiac-Ads tsk tsk
It is such a shame that someone who has been known for keeping a list of scam programs and supposedly educating people on the internet about scams is punishing his members by taking back earnings for not doing searches. I have harped and harped in this industry about forced searching and have subsided to sitting back and watching these sites destroy each other as it has only brought devastation and destruction to my own sites for trying to do something I thought was right. Read The Terms Of Service
Do you read the Terms of Service when you sign-up for online opportunities?
If you don’t you should!
Before joining any online opportunity read the terms of service. You might be really surprised to find out what is expected of you from the supposedly “Free” Online business opportunity.
If a site doesn’t have a terms of service, privacy policy or a contact page run as fast as you can. Most of these sites are scams.
I know what many are thinking, “But the terms on most sites are all the same.” This might be true but in-between the same old babble you might find,“Accounts found to be inactive and not clicking 50 email ads in a 15 day period and requesting payment will be terminated.” or perhaps,”Just because you have requested payout does not mean you can become inactive, you will be paid within terms so stay active or your account will be deleted. And will not be reinstated no matter who you are!” Or maybe this, “You must also if a free member have at least 50% of total earnings in email ads to be paid.” Read more
